gym rules

general rules

If you have a fever, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of the COVID-19 coronavirus, you are not allowed to enter the gym or yoga studio.

Access to the gym, classes, massage, and any and all other services and facilities of Harts Run Fitness is subject to the respectful and appropriate use of the gym space and facilities. Members found to be in violation of the rules may have their membership revoked and will waive the right to any and all reimbursements for services or good. This shall be at the sole discretion of the employees and owners of Harts Run Fitness.

Members may not let anyone enter the gym. All members will have access to the gym using a key tag. Visitors will only be admitted during staffed hours by employees.

Members and guests must respect the equipment. Any member or guest found to be misusing the equipment may be required to repair or replace said equipment, and may forfeit their membership.

Members and guests must be respectful to others in terms of language, discussion, equipment sharing, personal space, and personal items.

Members and guests should make efforts to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the gym. Please let us know if we can improve sanitation in any way.

Clients will not be allowed to use multiple machines at once. All machines must be wiped down with spray after each use.

Closed toe, non-marking athletic shoes must be worn at all times unless a member or guest is in the locker rooms, is actively lifting on the platform, is in the yoga studio, or is in the massage studio.

A video surveillance system with recording is in use at all times.

Minimum age of clients is 16 unless accompanied by an adult, personal trainer, or group instructor.

Members and guests will respect directions given by staff members, even if those directions supersede rules set forth in the text of this document.

Yoga/Class Rules

Please do not wear perfume, cologne, or scented lotions to class.

We urge you to leave your phone in your car during yoga classes. If you do bring it in, please silence it (not vibrate).

Yoga classes begin on time. If you arrive after the doors to the yoga studio or the cardio room is closed, you will not be able to attend. Shoes must be removed before entering the yoga studio. Other belongings must be stored in a locker in the gym locker rooms or kept in the cubbies inside the yoga studio.

Missed classes will be charged against a client’s purchased passes.
