covid-19 mitigation rules

All gym clients will be given their own bottle of disinfectant and a cleaning towel for their use when they enter the gym. During non-staffed hours, bottles and towels will be available at the front counter. Once a bottle is used, it will be disinfected before being added back to the rotation. All towels will be washed with the same care that we have always used, including bleach and scalding water.

Clients will not be allowed to use multiple machines at once. All machines must be wiped down with spray after each use. This rule will be strictly enforced.

Two new hand sanitizing stations will be installed in the gym and stocked with commercial-grade sanitizing liquid.

All clients will be required to sign a waiver that amends our original liability waiver to include an acknowledgement of the risks of contracting COVID-19 while in the gym.

Group classes will be limited in size to ensure that proper social distancing can be maintained, including extra room to accommodate breathing under exertion.

Face towels will not be available for use on the gym floor. These towels present a high risk for both clients and staff, and for now will not be part of our normal service until it is safe to begin using them again.

We will no longer be able to supply props for yoga classes. Instead, we ask that all yogis bring their own props to the studio to use during their sessions.

No personal items other than phones and water bottles will be allowed on the gym floor. All bags and extra clothes/shoes/keys must be placed in a locker.

If you have a fever, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of the COVID-19 coronavirus, you are not allowed to enter the gym or yoga studio.

A video surveillance system with recording is in use at all times.

Yoga/Class Rules

Please do not wear perfume, cologne, or scented lotions to class.

We urge you to leave your phone in your car during yoga classes. If you do bring it in, please silence it (not vibrate).

Yoga classes begin on time. If you arrive after the doors to the yoga studio or the cardio room is closed, you will not be able to attend. Shoes must be removed before entering the yoga studio. Other belongings must be stored in a locker in the gym locker rooms or kept in the cubbies inside the yoga studio.

Missed classes will be charged against a client’s purchased passes. Unlimited members who sign up for classes but do not show up more than one time will be charged the drop in price of $15 for all subsequent missed classes.

All yoga classes are capped at 9 people without exception. We urge you to reserve your place in all classes online and not rely on walk-in space being available.

Group fitness classes may be capped at different numbers of attendees. Please check with the gym or the instructor to ensure that you know the cap number for your favorite classes, and sign up early to reserve your space.
